House Finches are very rare in South Florida. As you can see, Vince only saw three. None have been seen this year in Miami-Dade County that I'm aware of. We could really use some right about now for the June Challenge.

House Sparrows, on the other hand, can be found in any heavily urbanized area. Just throw a rock as you are driving down US-1. You're bound to hit a House Sparrow, or someone texting while driving. Either event would be desirable.
