Condo in Pompano nesting success

Many of you remember, i approached my Condo Association with a request to put up a Martin house. i felt the pond and open areas was ideal for a colony.

Well , the association funded two houses. both houses are full of feeding Martins. It has been a pleasure for many residents.
I bet we have lots of other opportunities in south Florida.

I get daily photos of the houses ,while Im here in rainy New England. it is hard to beleive shorebird migration starts in about 10 days and Louisiana Waterthrushes leave in a month.
