We did a pelagic trip yesterday, and although things were very SLOOOOOOWWWW for June, we added 3 more species to the June Challenge total. At last count, we are now at 144 for the month, and still need some birds that are very possible. Here's what to be looking for:
American White Pelican
Short-tailed Hawk
Crested Caracara (seen in recent years @ Lucky Hammock & Dump Marsh)
Clapper Rail
Lesser Yellowlegs
Sanderling
Gull-billed Tern
Caspian Tern
Common Tern
Smooth-billed Ani
House Finch
