Requests for summer Kestrel sightings

All,

I'm doing a bit of research on plumage variation of the resident threatened subspecies "Southeastern Kestrel" (Falco sparverius paulus) in the southern peninsula and am looking for help from birders who are out and about. Current data shows these birds are believed to nest south to about the Okechobee area only. However, checking e-bird and other searchable data sets I'm only finding 3 summer reports of Kestrels further south than the latitude of Sarasota in the past decade. If anyone has seen or is seeing Kestrels during the summer period June through mid-August, it is almost a certainty these would be resident "paulus" birds.

I would love to hear about any and all reports to aid in my studies which are just beginning. Any and all help would be greatly appreciated!! Please send me an email for more information or to share sightings at the link below.

Thanks in advance all.
