Actually, throughout most of Miami-Dade county, they are mostly passing migrants, so for his location, it may be late -- unless they are breeding somewhere nearby.
For most locations such as Bill Baggs SP, A.D. Barnes, Matheson, they just simply aren't there outside of spring and fall migration.
