I've seen my share of migrant bird fall outs in my time here in South Florida but today was extraordinary; a large group of swarming bees fell from the sky right into the middle of some potted plants we purchased for our Hammock at Hoechoka Hammock. We had a thriving hive in no time. What a show! Anyone else got bees swarming in their area?

And to keep this on the right track---the baby killdeer at hoechoka Hammock are growing up so quickly. Only two have survived marauding ravens. We expect the killdeer will be flying very shortly. Meantime, they are "darlings" of the day.
