On Tuesday morning, in the thriving metropolis of Virginia Gardens, I had a female Ruby-throated Hummingbird fedding between my Firebush (Hamelia patens) and Geiger Tree (Cordia sebestena). In the afternoon a male Painted Bunting (Nonpareil) graced my feeder. Life is good..........especialy when you plant native species in your yard.
