The Google Earth county line looks correct. I just pulled up the official county boundary from Miami-Dade's GIS website and dropped that on top of some recent CERP imagery (very tightly georeferenced).
Snake Bite trailhead is 1.22 road miles to the southwest of the Miami-Dade county line (0.99 miles due west of the line).
