The mud flats on the shore of the Harbour Lakes impoundment are drying up, and the Reddish Egret was not present this morning. Did see a Semipalmated Plover and also got a photo of the interesting pattern of feather replacement in a sub-adult Little Blue Heron. Yellow-crowned Night-Herons in the small rookery are incubating eggs.
