Just an observation.
This may mean very little or nothing at all, but out of the handful of Connecticut Warblers I have seen in Florida, one was dead. It was in the vicinity of a building, but much too far away from it to have collided and fell to the location that I found it at. This was in May of 2007.
Of course, the bird could have been dead for any number of reasons. But one doesn't see many dead warblers of any species in the field, nor too many live Connecticuts.
