In the water treatment plant water impoundments on Wyckham road south of Titusville. Very impressive these birds that overflew us twice and then dropped in for a landing to walk and feed. Note, the water treatment facility is now closed to the public for a ad being filmed on site. Wont reopen until May 24. Check the internet site for up to date information
Note for those going to Merritt Island Wildlife area; the bridge from titusville is closed for repairs for another week, maybe more. Entrance onto the island is from Oak Hill, a detour of 30 some miles.
