I can add a female Connecticut Warbler and a couple more species to the birds seen at Birch this morning.
The Connecticut Warbler was feeding on the ground along the section of old railroad grade that runs between the Scenic Drive and Lake Helen 50 to 60 yards south of the point where it crosses the Scenic Drive which is on the right a little past the fire hydrant a few hundred yards north of the south picnic area parking.
Here is the list of non-resident birds I saw this morning at H. T. Birch State Park.
Black-necked Stilt 10
Chimney Swift 6
Yellow-billed Cuckoo 2
Black-throated Blue Warbler 2
American Redstart 12
Blackpoll Warbler 2
Ovenbird 5
Northern Waterthrush 2
Connecticut Warbler 1
Common Yellowthroat 3
