Last night and again tonight I tried for the Antillean at the shopping center on 184 and US-1, from 7:30 - 8:30. Roxanne was there both nights; Trey gave up after the first night (wimp). We saw a couple of Common Nighthawks, but no Antillean. Guess a reliable spot for Antillean on the mainland still eludes us.
I hope I'm wrong, but seems Sunday's bird was s fluke. I've been coming to this shopping center at least once a week for 13 years and have yet to hear an Antillean. Always some Commons in summer, but no Antillean.
I'm thinking of trying for European Starling tomorrow, but with my recent luck I may not find any either!
