Dan Smyth and I birded Bill Baggs State Park today in hopes of Connecticut Warbler. Although we failed to turn up any Connecticuts, it was a great day to be out birding for migrants
as birds were numerous throughout the trail system of the park. Blackpoll Warbler and American Redstart were by far the most numerous species. Highlights included a very late Palm Warbler near the lighthouse and a female Wilson's Warbler in the campground area. Here is the migrant tally:

Sharp-shinned Hawk 1
Black-whiskered Vireo 2
Northern Parula 2
Magnolia Warbler 1
Cape May Warbler 8
Black-throated Blue Warbler 5
Prairie Warbler 1
Palm Warbler 1
Blackpoll Warbler 35
American Redstart 20
Northern Waterthrush 2
Common Yellowthroat 15
WILSON'S WARBLER 1
