I found a Bahama Mockingbird this afternoon at birch. The bird was at the south end of the far north loop trail where it intersects with the sunken trail with the concrete sandbags.i.e. the beginning of the buried kiddie train tunnel. if you look 25 ft. sw of the wooden post with the red reflecters the bird was singing in the thicket.I observed it from 14:00-14:55.He was merrily warbling away as I left.No white on wings and streaky flanks.Gary Busch one of the park supervisors e-mailed me some awesome digital i.d photos he took of said bird.I left a map at the gatehouse.I will try to post a picture.
