An early afternoon walk around the northern section of A.D. Barnes yielded six species of warblers, with about twenty individuals. Most birds were around the chickee hut.

Following Brian Rapoza's recent post, I headed to the Kendall Baptist Hospital area for exotics. From Kendall Drive, I turned onto SW 92 Ave south. A hotel is on the left, followed by a swale where several vehicles are parked (I assumed legally). I parked and walked down SW 90 street west. On the right, the (third) house has a purple bougainvillea in the front right corner. Two Red-whiskered Bulbuls flew into here with nest material, but I could not locate a nest. Please be considerate in this residential area; looking at the bougainvillea may appears to look like one is trying to look through the windows with optics. The hotel here, the Kendall Hotel and Suites, may be the perfect location for visiting birders to roll out of bed and easily walk across the street for the bulbuls and probably Spot-breasted Orioles. At least thirty Mitred Parakeets were loafing around the hospital, and could be heard while searching for the bulbuls.
