Thanks, Robin!! This bird was way too large to be newly fledged, in fact looking a little larger than a normal Mock. However, it was perched on the picnic table in clear view, so that does not match up. The coloring was pale and lacked the dark gray and white seen normally. I will have to go back and check out the rest of the field marks - PTO - check out your bird!
