Prior to this morning's TAS walk at Matheson Hammock Park, I stopped by the intersection of SW 97 Avenue and SW 94 Street in Kendall, where nesting Spot-breasted Orioles have been reported recently. I had only a brief glimpse of one of the orioles, in a backyard at this intersection. Around the block, at the intersection of SW 95 Court and SW 96 Street, a fruiting Ficus tree hosted a flock of about 25 Cedar Waxwings. Returning to Kendall Drive via SW 92 Avenue, I spotted a Red-whiskered Bulbul on the wires along SW 92 Avenue just south of Kendall Drive.
