Tropical Audubon Society seeks volunteers to lead future bird walks at the nature preserve on Florida International University's Tamiami campus. We would like the first walk to take place sometime next September or October. Since our hope is to have university students participate in the walks, it would be ideal to schedule the walks on a weekday morning. The walks will be open to all, though, since the nature preserve manager will arrange for any participant without a university parking permit to park at the preserve.

Anyone familiar with the FIU nature preserve who would like to volunteer to lead these walks should contact me at fieldtrips@tropicalaudubon.org If a leader is identified, the date for the first walk will be published in the TAS events calendar.
