We have the Monk Parakeets, Yellow Chevrons, and White wind parakeets feeding in our yard in Miami Shores. On Friday, 5-6-2004, there was another group of birdwatchers in the alley observing them. We've got 7 feeders and feed sunflower seeds. Also, get orioles, cardinals, and other common varieties as well.
You may not be aware of the parakeet nests located in the neighborhood; the address is 94th St. and NE 12th Ave, Miami Shores. They are in the large tree, backyard, house with rock wall around it - you can't miss them.
