Highlights of the North American Migration Count in Miami Springs & Virginia Gardens were two Black-necked Stilts,a Solitary Sandpiper and a Mottled Duck feeding in the pond in front of the Curtiss Mansion on Deer Run, two Spot-breasted Orioles, a Bronzed Cowbird on Bluebird Avenue under a martin house on Horseshoe Lake between Lenape and Hammond Drives, and 9 species of psittacids.

The following 35 species with 326 individuals were seen:

Common Moorhen (6)
Kildeer (2)
Black-necked Stilt (2)
Solitary Sandpiper (1)

Mitred Parakeet (5)
Dusky-headed Parakeet (6)
