The immature Reddish Egret that I first saw on April 2nd disappeared after the 12th, but this morning it was back on the impoundment west of the Harbour Lakes subdivision in the West Miramar ESL. Highlight this morning was a Black-whiskered Vireo, the first I've seen. I heard its distinctive call/song and it suddenly appeared over my head in the "imitation hammock."
