There was a report from the TAS Broward trip, April 2, of Sedge Wrens at Markham Park, and since I am visiting Ft Lauderdale in about next week (April 28 May 6) and do not have Sedge Wren on my life list I though it might be worth a try. I assume that they are just winter visitors, but I read in one of the Florida guides that they often linger well into May. Any thoughts or recent sightings? I also googled the park and it looks like it is a rather large site, where were they observed/heard? Mornings best?
Also, the Screech Owl at the Evergreen Cemetery, is it in a natural cavity or should I look for a nest box?
