Birdathon Report "Massduck" Team

Monday Russ Titus and John Hutchison did a birdathon big day in Palm Beach and Broward Counties. migration was slow, we had to fight for every bird. We totaled 98 species, only 8 warbler species and ZERO Vireos and Thrushes.

Highlights:
Green Cay and Waco- Bald Eagle-1,Greater Yellowlegs-1, Least bittern-6, Sora-1, Marsh wren-1, Summer Tanager-1.

Delray beach- Frigatebird-2, Lesser Black back Gull-1, Sanderling-6, Ruddy Turnstone-6.

Lox road and Hillsboro Pinelands- Caspian Tern-1,Ground dove-4, 2000 swallows ( Barn, Tree, Rough-wing, Cave).Sharp-shinned Hawk-1

Woodmont Natual Area and Mills Park- Most of our 8 species of Warblers ( Cape may and Blackpoll).

Evergreen-Gray kingbird

Las Olas- Mitred, Red masked, Blue crowned.
