Just for the sake of being clear, I have heard the name Cuban Anole to refer to the Brown Anole and Knight Anole. Both are native to Cuba, and this is indeed a Knight Anole (Anolis equestris). The other "Cuban Anole" is Anolis sagrei, the abundant brown lizard of peninsular Florida.

Key Biscayne and Matheson Hammock are both great places to observe South Florida's anole species.
