Sonny Bass and I spent this last week on the Tortugas, much of it on Bush Key, working on the terns. No sign of black noddy. Yes, the long-eared owl was a delight. But so, too was a adult white-tailed tropicbird on the trip out on the 11th, right above the ferry in the Rebecca Channel.

Usual migrant migrant warblers, black-whiskered vireos, grey kingbirds, indigo buntings, merlins.
