Based on my experience at Green Cay and Wako - yes, the birds tend to stay in their (small) area for the entire season, at times. I can look at the same 2 square feet from October to April and see a Sora within a few minutes.
I would be glad to keep an eye on the Sora, but I can't afford the park fee to do so ;(
