Picture by D.Fitzsimmons. Screech owls nesting in Garden area northwest of tent platform. Look for the western box not the eastern one and watch at dusk (7:20-8:30) Listen too, for the tell tale "whinny or warbling call". These owls do not "screech" it is a soft melodic warbling that passes back and forth from male to female sometimes in two different tones. Such sweet music on a warm early summer night. Thanks Dee!
