I stopped quickly at Green Cay Wetlands while heading south to see if I could find the reported Virginia Rail. I could not. However, I did run into some unexpected migrants--9 sp of warbler, including FOS Hooded, several FOS Cape May, and an FOS Blackpoll! Also seen were several each of Prairie, Parula, BT Blue, B&W, Palm, and Common Yellowthroat.

Also seen were lingering Wilson's Snipe (2) and Sora, plus 2 Least Bittern, several vocal Limpkins, Screech Owl, and a small flock of Black-bellied Whistling Ducks.
