Since last Wednesday's fallout, I have birded a lot.
Last Wednesday, I had 7 warbler species, 6 Chimney Swifts, as well as a few Spot-breasted Orioles, Orange-winged Parrots, and Chestnut-fronted Macaws.

Yesterday, I walked from from my school to Morningside Park afterschool. The Cooper's Hawks have returned and are using the same nest as last year. Common Yellowthroat, Black-throated Blues, American Redstart, Cape Mays and Ovenbirds were the only 5 warblers left over from the previous day's fallout. It was nice to see a few Yellow-crowned Night-herons and Magnificent Frigatebirds again.

Today, I birded with Thomas and Nancy Kurtz of Pennsylvania. I managed to find them their life White-winged Parakeets easily, and eventually found them some killer looks of their life Spot-breasted Oriole. Yellow-chevroned Parakeets, 5 warbler species, Common
Ground-doves, and Burrowing Owls were also seen today.

Good luck at Matheson tomorrow everyone! I may be able to join. Maybe this rain will stick around and we can experience yet another fallout.
