Here's a shot of one of our beautiful Research Road Eastern Bluebirds, doing the typical perch-at-the-end-of-the-stick thing. Can't see if he's banded because of the berries, but I suspect he is. Does anyone know if all of the Bluebirds in this location are re-introduced, or have they been joined by others from, say, the Big Cypress?
I saw one out there a while back eating a snail (not a Lig), which sort of surprised me.
