The indigo that has been in the yard for over a month now is a boy. It now has bright blue on its shoulders and lower back. I'm pretty sure it's the same one, because it loiters in the same area of the yard and is very tame. At the same time I heard a pretty, sustained sweet song on another corner of the yard. When I went over to check, the song stopped. In the shrub was an all green painted. It took off and I didn't see any more. Since the boys sing, it was either a young male or another was hanging around with the first.
