On yesterday's bird count I had 43 species.
Highlights included:
Virginia Rail (I missed seeing the Common Moorhen attack the rail and try to drown it but I saw the photos! Thanks Linda.)
Indigo Bunting
Black-and-white Warbler
Black-throated Blue Warbler
Common Yellowthroat
Northern Parula
Prairie Warbler
Yellow-rumped Warbler
Least Tern (FOS)
Sora
Limpkins calling everywhere
and the many new babies that are hatching from the Moorhens and Mottled Ducks.
A Fulvous Whistling Duck was spotted earlier this week at the feeder near the Chickee.
