Troy and I had the same problem with rats at the feeder. So Troy thought about how he could solve this problem. He bought a round pizza pan, cut a hole in the center ever so slightly bigger than the size of the feeder pole. He slipped it over the pole and positioned it under the feeder. Voila! The rats could still crawl up the pole, but could not by-pass the pizza pan to get to the food.
