For those that insist on visual aids see the link below that will highlight what Alex speaks of.
Note Bermuda, the white dot in the upper part of the graphic. Note the huge "Bermuda High Pressure" clearly visible on the display. Note the winds rotating clockwise around the high. Toggle the buttons over the graphic to get the various wind components
See also the front now entering Lake Okeechobee (12:48 edt) It is a signficant front. That link would be:
