Gloria Cashin led a trip for Broward Audubon and Broward county Parks. this year they started charging 3 $, but the parks wanted it paid and reserved in advance. the flap was people showed up and were original denied passage to the island. After a dockside debate a few extra people were allowed to go over to the island.
Highlights were Great horned Owls-2 (young) and a Mangrove Cuckoo.
Broward Audubon needs to update the web site with the county rules to avoid a mess next month. There is a May trip scheduled. It should be a good place for a CT Warbler the first Saturday in May.
