1. Meet at 8AM, at Markham Park ( as per TAS web site), Nature trail is to the left parking opposite the dog park. Targets Sedge Wrens, Sparrows, Snail kites, Burrowing owl. Restrooms available.
2. Plantation Preserve and Golf Course-- directions return to 595 east to University(north), Go 1.3 miles turn East (right) on Broward Blvd. Go east .6 miles, golf course is hidden on right, park on east side of lot. Targets: Least Bitten, rails, waterfowl, and migrants.
3.Lunch Plantation Heritage Park. Return to University turn South, go two blocks turn East on Peters Rd, the sign for the Heritage park will be 2/3 mile on the left. We will find a pavilion to eat. Restrooms available.
4. Evergreen Cemetery, FTL , return to University go South, to 595 East, to Federal highway, go North till you see a Boston Market (SE 15th) turn East (Right) go two blocks East and turn North, you will see the Cemetery. Last year this was a great stop with WC Pigeon, Chuck-wills, Prothon. Warbler and others.
5. Last we will procede South on Federal to Old Griffin road turn West and park along the canal and scope for Ani.
