Early this morning while walking the most northern dirt/gravel loop trail, a Mangrove Cuckoo called and I was able to get good looks. It was at the northern end of the trail. Also a Brown-crested Flycatcher called while I was on the same trail. Warblers were few, only one group of 10 Palms and then the Prairies were singing thru-out. White-eyed vireos were the next most numerous bird besides the Cardinals. White-crowned pigeons were flying early as I drove down 905 to Dagny Johnson.

Earlier (8am)on Card Sound Rd by the Crocodile Lake NWR ponds, I heard a rail (sounded like a King more than a Clapper??) but not sure if both are present in the brackish water here. Blue-wings, R.Spoonbills and BN Stilts were present too.

Scoping the sandbar at 4pm on North side of Card Sound Bridge only netted Royal TErns, Laughing Gulls, 1 Lesser Black-backed, 4 Semipalmated Sandpipers, 7 Dunlin and 2 Blk-bellied Plovers.
