A fully-fledged male and a female rufous hummingbird are at Castellow Hammock Park, 22301 SW 162 Avenue. Look around the firebush (red tubular flowers) and the necklace-pod (long spikes of yellow pea flowers) north of the nature center building. Sit on the picnic table under the oak for the best vantage point. Both birds were observed on 17 October 01. The male is gorgeous!
Lots of ruby-throats too.
