Among the "usual suspects" down in the park this last weekend, the following species were seen.
3/17/04 - Anhinga Trail:
Virginia Rail (just before turn off main park road)
Red-eyed Vireo
Eco-Pond:
Indigo Bunting
Blue Grosbeak
Upland Sandpiper
Swallow-tailed Kite
And this morning at A.D. Barnes, Dee found an Orchard Oriole south of the main entrance to the park. Cape May numbers are on the decline, while worm-eating was the bird du jour. Numerous blue-headed and white-eyed vireos were seen. Just another day in the park.......
