What a great day thanks to Nancy!! David, Geri (NJ gal) and I continued to the observation tower before completing the loop at 4:10pm. We added 1 male Northern Pintail, 2 female Ring-necked Ducks, 1 female Canvasback, 1 Caspian Tern, and one immature Snail Kite to add to the day list. There were about 1000 waterbirds out of scope range and could have contained some goodies but I think they were 98% Coots. All and all a great day of birding with TAS.
