Alison and I stopped by C-111E at 5:30 on Wednesday, where we ran into a certain Rock Jetty. The three of us had decent looks at the MacGillavray's Warbler in the reported spot. It called frequently between 5:30-5:45 and then appeared only occasionally after that. When we left it was skulking behind the east side of the brush. There were several Myiarchus flycatchers, but none called so none of us could reliably identify Brown Cresteds.

Lucky Hammock was quiet when Alison and I stopped at 6:45-7:15 for a quick dinner. The Hammock itself was quiet. Further down the road, there were several mixed flocks of blackbirds -- Red-winged Blackbirds, Brown-headed Cowbirds, Starlings, and Boat-tailed Grackle -- but no Yellow-headed Blackbird.

Anhinga Trail was noisy with birds, but quiet from a birding perspective.

At 8:15, near the Nike Missile site, we had a single Chuck-wills-widow calling, and then at 8:30 we heard 2 calling at the Coe Visitor Center.
