It was nice to meet you Don- and thanks again for helping me find the spot!
I continued the rest of the day in the Everglades, Castellow, and Cutler. I came across a kettle on research road that had at least ten swallow-tailed kites, a light morph shot-tailed hawk, and the two vulture species. On Gumbo Limbo trail, there were a number of red-eyed vireos. I found a migrant flock on the Long Pine Key trail that was mostly yellow-rumpeds, palms, and pines, but there was alos a parula and a yellow-throated. Castellow was quiet, but had a few ruby-throated hummingbirds and a northern parula. Dump marsh had a few glossy ibis, and a black-necked stilt. 77 species on the day.
Cheers,
-Andy
