After missing the MacG this morning ,I returned late this afternoon where I met up with Scott S who told me he thought he had seen the bird an hour earlier.We were joined by a couple who had just come from Bill Baggs and a successful sighting of the La Sagra's (right behind the restaurant on the bike path). We asked if they had brought us some luck and sure enough not long after, the MacG flew from where Scott had seen it to the Washing machine area. We had a few minutes where the bird chipped and moved within the brush pile before it flew off to the east end of the hammock and disappeared.I left Tom and Cheryl there hoping to repeat their sighting from this morning.
