Headed first to the Indian Hammocks cemetery to check if Ash-throated Flycatcher still here. Did not see it (last seen by me last Sunday). Lots of warbler activity, plenty of Palms and Yellow-rumped. Also had Black-and-white, Prairie (one was singing) and Yellow-throated Warblers. Also a continuously singing Blue-headed Vireo. Monk Parakeets, Eastern Phoebe, Cooper's Hawk, Kestrel and White-winged Dove (overhead)and the usual resident birds.
Then headed to the Miami-Dade College Environmental Center in Kendall (open 2nd Saturday of every month) Highlights were Northern Parula, Black-and-white, Palm, Prairie and Orange-crowned Warblers. Also had a singing White-eyed Vireo, a male Ruby-throated Hummingbird, a single Purple Martin overhead and a couple of Belted Kingfishers. Twice flushed a Chuck-will's-widow from the ground in the pine area.
