On a walk on Gumbo Limbo Trail at Royal Palm Hammock, Everglades National Park this morning, I heard, then saw a Brown-crested Flycatcher. It was seen on the section of the old Ingraham Highway about 50 yards past where it intersects the Gumbo Limbo Trail. Also seen or heard in the area were Yellow-billed Cuckoo, Great-crested Flycatcher, Blue-headed Vireo, Carolina Wren, and nine species of warblers: Black-throated Green, Black-throated Blue, Worm-eating, Black-and-white, Yellow-throated, Northern Parula, American Redstart, Prairie, and Common Yellowthroat.
