Although I came out empty with the Upland Sandpiper this morning, I still managed to spot a few species.
-a male Sharp-shinned Hawk
-about 4 Killdeer
-a LARGE flock of aratinga type parakeets. Maybe 60 or more
- Monk, Yellow-chevroned, and White-winged Parakeets
-Common Ground Dove
-one of the three Burrowing Owls
-Chimney Swift
-Yellow-throated Vireo FOY (BEAUTIFUL!!!!!!!!!!)
-Gray Catbird
-Warblers- m. Common Yellowthroat, ~5 American
Redstarts, ~15 Prairies, 1 m Northern Parula, and 2
Palms.
-Painted Bunting f.
-another bunting species was heard
-Spot-breasted Oriole
