Red-tailed Hawks mating

I have found Red-tailed Hawks to be unusual in my West Miramar birding patch (SE corner of the Broward WCA), and have never seen them here during breeding season. I was surprised when a second Red-tail joined the one I was photographing on an old telephone pole this morning. They flew to the next pole and copulated (photo on my FLICKR page).
