Jack, Good find! I'm doing a Collier County Big Year. As of today, I have 164 species for the county since January 1st but I lack Shiny Cowbird and some of the "bigger" shorebirds like American Oystercatcher, Marbled Godwit and Long-billed Curlew. Did you see any of these birds at Tigertail Beach? What time did you see the Shiny Cowbird and where, exactly, in the parking lot was it? That's a big parking lot! Could you contact me off-list?
