I just received the latest report from the Dry Tortugas; the birding was
incredible with a tremendous fallout of birds. THREE RED-FOOTED BOOBIES
were seen, two immature birds and one adult bird. All were seen in the
Frigatebird colony. Brennan Mulrooney has been marooned at the fort, I am
sure he will give a full report if he can make it back! Hopefully he will
be dried out by then!!
I will be leaving for the fort tomorrow to look at the leftovers although
the winds are still favorable for continued good birds. I will be able to
call in any good sightings to my wife Christine with a satellite phone on
board the boat, which then can be posted.
